landscape

Vraj Gopi Greens Bungalows, Ahmedabad

We adopted a dualistic approach for this brief, wherein 1) a rustic material and colour palette was adopted for the entrance plaza, internal roads and compound walls and 2) a bold material and colour palette was used for the clubhouse area to bring in the element of surprise. The site in itself was very interesting with lots of mature existing trees which we have retained in the proposed design and incorporated them as design elements.

Bubble Island, Bilaspur

The site was spread over an area of 7 acres. It comprised of a water park, amusement park, a hotel with banquet facilities, a club with gym, spa and sauna, swimming pool and a bar. The landscape used natural and recycled materials such as sleeper wood, slate stone, etc.

Calcutta Business School, Kolkata

The landscape looked at creating coutyard that were extensions of the built forms. Earth forms were modulated to create interesting levels in the courts with strategic placement of plants and trees.

Site Office, Kolkata

Given the rugged nature of the site office that was part of a huge township under construction, the materials, textures and colours used were very rustic.

Tea Research Association, Assam

The site was located amidst a lush green campus full of trees and waterbodies. The design takes a cue from this context and creates a subtle fore court for the building with gradual transitions of levels, using paving material that blends with the surroundings.

Doon School, Dehradun

The prestigious school campus spread over 70 acres is a heritage in itself with its buildings and natural fabric. The project involved developing signature zones within the campus as landscaped nodes. The design takes clued from the existing natural fabric and created spaces that give ample interaction opportunities for the students in the outdoors.

Planetarium, Ujjain

The landscape theme here derives from the circular form of the planetarium and translates into arcs that manifest themselves as contours and pavements on ground, interspersed with seasonal flowering trees and other plant material.

Private Residence 1, Bilaspur

The design created two distinct landscape zones; the activity zone with more manicured landscape and the other zone included more rugged treatment with tropical plants, rock gardens and flowering plant material.
